Attention Pacific Northwest collectors - free stuff « on: October 24, 2024, 10:51:16 PM » Author: arcblue
I have fixtures, lamps, ballasts I need to get rid of as I moved and can't take it all. If anyone is local - Seattle area - and would like to pick stuff up, it will be free. If I have to store it, pack it and ship it, it won't be free. I am most anxious to get rid of the large items as they are trickier to store.

Current list:
13w PL-C vapor tight fixture
GE M400 PowrDoor, no ballast or lamp currently
Electripak Yard Lite III, metal version, reballasted to 100w MV with Regent /DX lamp
Black & Decker Flashlighter
60w incandescent BT-56 mogul base
GE Euro II/Nexell, currently 250w metal halide with ET18 lamp
Lite Source 50w halogen desk lamp
RAB 50w tallpack with coated HPS lamp
GE Blacklight Brite Stik with resistive ballast
Eveready 7650 F6T5 fluorescent lantern, only works off 12V adapter
GE Form 79 incandescent head 200w Sylvania lamp, Lexlite teardrop refractor. Also have a GE Form 79 175w mercury vapor head, but am keeping its gumball refractor
Empty wall pack housing, was originally 35w HPS then 50w MV but I kept the ballasts
Ark Lighting M250A clone, with Citizen LED retrofit
Leviton cold cathode nightlight
Day-Brite 4-lamp preheat F40T12 fixture with Jefferson Tulamp ballasts
Cordelia Lighting 100w mercury wall pack not in the best of shape. Also have a 70w MH one. Lenses are yellowed, ballasts are buzzy, PCs may be non-op
Swingline 13w PL desk lamp with original Sylvania 2700K lamp
Sylvania 400w /DX mercury lamp
Osram Powerstar 2000w metal halide lamp
Dura-Mex code beacon incandescent lamp
MaxLite Minimax horizontal spiral CFL x2
Sylvania F96T12/CWX 8' slimlines x4, two are NOS
GE F48PG17/CW powergroove lamps x4 also have an Advance two lamp VHO magnetic ballast for these
Philips G15T8 sterilamp, NOS but has a cathode shield that is loose in the lamp; works
Osram 90w SOX, has a crack in it but it lights & has original box
Spartan magnetic preheat daylight globe CFLs x5
Also: Lampi F40T12 striplight converted to preheat; F40T12 rapid start strip light and F20T12 trigger start strip light, single lamp

There are a few cheap 100w MV ballasts, some electronic and magnetic fluorescent ballasts, 100w Westinghouse /DX BT25 merc, a few coated position oriented /HOR Sylvania Metalarcs of 250w, a number of triphosphor GE F40T12 4' fluorescents, some NOS, and a LED exit sign (no emergency battery)

I can probably come up with some other lamps to throw in if someone actually comes to get a lot of stuff. Otherwise, I will probably sell those items at a later time when I have time to actually box up and ship things.

PM me if you are interested in meeting up for any of these items.

I am curious how much it would cost for the 13w PL-C vapor tight fixture and Osram Powerstar 2000w MH lamp if you were able to ship them to 74834?

I wish I could help, though I kind of live on the opposite side of the country!

How much would it cost to ship the GE Form 79 head, the Lexlite reflector, the 200W Sylvania lamp, the Electripak Yard lite III, GE M400 PowrDoor, Euro II/Nexell and the Form 79 MV head?

Update - the M400 is taken, I met BT25 yesterday and he plans to restore it which is awesome.

At this time I am not able to ship items and can't tell you the cost to do so, but streetlight fixtures I've found can easily cost over $60 to do so plus they must be very carefully overpacked to avoid breakage. I don't like to ship them if I can avoid it to avoid potential tragic damage caused by the carrier.

I suspect though, what doesn't go within a week will go to storage and I can in time ship it, so will note who asked first and let you know when I can and how much. Lamps & ballasts are pretty easy and I don't mind shipping those so much, but I won't have time till 2025 most likely.

Understood. If you end up shipping any fixtures, I don’t recommend that you use the USPS, as they don’t tend to be very careful, but I’m glad to hear that BT25 is restoring the M400!

I might be interested in the Nexell. I do live close by, but I'm about 35 miles south.
