Thanks for the info! I’m surprised that these are decorative as I assumed it was something in the Leotek catalog at the time.

I've been to that same bridge at night and I don't know if they're the same LED fixtures now, but from what I know that pic is from around 2004 or earlier, meaning that these were one of the first big LED installations meant for actual lighting.

If that photo was taken in 2004 at the latest, than I would be surprised if this wasn’t the first LED outdoor lighting installation in the US, or possibly the entire world.

From what I can find, LED outdoor lighting has existed since at least early 2002 according to this page.
