I did some Google search but couldn’t find anything on it. I remember I used to like mechanical pencils when I was a kid.

I like not-mechanical pencils since I like to write slightly heavier, and because most mechanical pencil lead is rather thin-

I press hard when I write too, so have to sharpen often. However the mechanical pencils would usually fail due to me pressing hard and the lead would keep retracting.

There are actually some mechanical pencils now though, that have lead like #2 pencils-

I don't have any old ones I think though I do have: -Two Eberhard Faber #2 pencils -Three Dixon Ticonderoga #3 Hard pencils -And a J.R.Moon "Big-Dipper" which I have no idea how old it is, but it is from my grandparents' house I am thinking of splitting a pencil in half and inserting a refillable ink think, a pen pencil!
