I use real incandescent Christmas lights, miniature lights from the 70's, C6's from the 50's and modern C7's and C9's. NO ugly LED's! I don't care what it cost. Real Christmas lights and Preheat Fluorescent!

That would be AWESOME but I would be afraid the lampholders and possibly the end caps would be damaged in shipping.

That would be cool.  Afraid it's not in my budget either. The smart way for a knowledgeable person to ship it would be to detach the lamp holders and end caps and secure them inside.  Basically how new fixtures come from the manufacturers box.
