Seems like the 50w Sylvania Metalarc Pro-tech Quartz Metal Halides are all warm white. I'm not entirely sure. Does anybody know of *Sylvania* 50w Quartz Metal Halide lamps that are 4000k?

That's odd !!! I just looked and sure enough , all of the Sylvanias are listed as 3,000k !  No idea why !

I'm not sure why either. I bought three more and installed them all... and all of them appear to be warm white. It looks okay, but that's generally not the color I'm shooting for. The original one that I bought back in May doesn't appear to be warm colored as the ones I just bought, though... so I wonder if this is because they're new? Then again, I do see indication from the arc tubes... it's possible the seller gave me used lamps, that had been operating horizontally.

Yep the Philips CMH I have, I decided to take out. It looks nice, but I want to save that lamp for something else I've been thinking about. Same with the GE QMH I have, which was the 2nd best in terms of color, and the best in terms of fastest warm up time, by far. The Sylvania lamps look to have been used, with obvious burn marks on the arc tube, making me think the previous owner used them, and used them horizontally. He also claimed them to be new, if I remember correctly. But yeah, lumen output is also not the greatest with those WW QMH Sylvanias. It's not terrible, at all, but doesn't seem as bright as the 4000k QMH.

Hey... what about this one on Ebay? https://rb.gy/xyn41  << (Link to Ebay page. I'm still learning how to shorten URL's.) That seller put "4000" in his product title... I assume he's saying this lamp is 4000k? I also don't know if this lamp is compatible with my wallpacks or not.

As long as it says "M110" It is compatible !  What color temp it is is anyone's guess ! Try offering them $10 and see what happens !!

@Joseph_125, what color is yours? Is it 4000k like that seller claimed? Also, thanks for the info on how to shorten the URL! I went ahead and bought two more of the other Sylvania lamps, from Ebay. I've decided to go ahead and complete the warm white look... for now. (All 6 fixtures will have those Warm White Sylvania lamps.) If I do find Sylvania 50w Metal Halides that are higher color temperature, I'll uninstall those Sylvanias I just bought, and sell them all, or most of them. (Might end up keeping some just for spare lamps.) @Wide-Lite 1000, thanks. I'm still learning about the details regarding Metal Halide lamps. M110 being compatible helps me out significantly. I wonder if Sylvania made knock off Metal Halide 50w lamps for other brands, that are 4000k? Or if there are other brands that use similar arc tubes/explosion protection similar to Sylvania's? That arc tube and that protection around it is one of the primary reasons why I want to use those Sylvanias the most, besides the slower warm up time, and the orange flashes, which I personally like a lot.

And what makes matters worse is when the non lighting enthusiast sellers on Ebay, randomly throw a color temperature number out as part of their product title. I'm not sure if that's what the seller I linked to did, but if so, that kind of stuff throws me off significantly regarding the CMH and QMH.

Exactly! All for 450 dollars, monthly payment option included. Those kind of sellers are the kind I typically avoid like the plague. lol Even though all my fixtures will have those Warm White 50w Sylvania QMH lamps, the journey isn't over. I'm hoping to find 4000k versions of those Sylvania lamps, even if they're from different brands. Hopefully from a credible Ebay seller though.
