Just wait, and occasionally look on eBay, but it's kinda hard to find them NOS on there too

ON LG FOR 2 YEARS! Please don't ask to meet up with me, as I am still living with my mother. Don't send me items either please, thank you! Please, watch out for the future. It's not looking good. Loves instruction manuals of any kind!

I look every once and a while, but all I find are the last-gen GE M400A fixtures.

Yeah, those are fine too if someone wanted to start a collection, or something

I really like the way the M400A2 looks. The last gen M400A just looks like an AEL 315/325

That's true, there was a bunch of 1990's Ge M400A2's NOS, but they all sold

You could check with member kcbhiw1 here on L-G, he might have what you’re looking for since he’s downsizing his collection. That’s where my 1992 M-250CF came from. The 1997 M-400As aren’t bad, yeah they may look like the Series 325, but are solid and well made, not to mention easy to acquire.

I don't know how I would pay him and have him ship the thing to me.

I used PayPal, before I became a adult a few years ago I had my dad help me out. Shipping is pricy though on full-sized cobraheads like M-400A2s, my M-250CF cost over $100 shipping to get to California from Georgia, and that’s a smaller sized head not including the price for the fixture itself. Regardless, M-400s are on the pricy end compared to let’s say M-250R2s (which are really good starter heads).

I live in NC, so shipping probably wouldn't be as much. But my dad probably wouldn't like the idea of me buying something from a fellow lighting-gallery member, and I have a thing about paying people directly. If he put it on eBay, then maybe.

Yeah, because you would have to deal with giving them your address, paying them, and making sure the thing arrives in one piece.

Hmm, unfortunately you’ll have to wait awhile for another to pop up on eBay, which is kinda unpredictable. For the time being, I’d suggest something smaller and easier to own first before jumping into fixtures like M-400s due to cost and availability.
Just a heads up: I know kcbhiw1, no he is not a hacker.

The 115, 315, and the M250R2 are pretty good starter fixtures. Also how often do they turn up?
