That pic is from the Seattle archives.

We have the poster in our break room. I believe it is on Aurora Ave in the area around Green Lake.

Hmmm.....not sure if it's OK to resale it on eBay?

I was wondering that too, they have a digital copy but do they have the rights to resell that image. I suppose it might be old enough to be public domain but that probably means you can find it for cheap/free elsewhere.

Never mind that, is anyone fool enough to spend that sort of money on it..? If I really wanted to, I could download a copy and print it myself.

People are free to acquire these old photos from the Seattle Municipal archives, they'll even email you the high-res scan of it (I forget what format it is, but it's a big file, these have all been done in very high res) if you request it. Then you can print it out for yourself. Our poster of this scene was about 30" tall, very clear!

I'm not 100% sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if using these for resale is frowned upon...

Yeah, I just found the high resolution version of it for download for free on the Seattle Municipal archives site. See here. Apparently the image is free to reuse but it seems tacky to me to resell them on eBay.

Pretty good quality too, even some of the text on the labels is legible. You could probably get that printed on a 30" poster and it would still look pretty crisp.
