Good entry level cameras under $300 « on: August 20, 2022, 01:17:29 PM » Author: HIDLad001
I want to replace my aging Nikon D70 with something a bit more modern. I would like it to zoom well for photographing street lights from some distance away. It would also be nice if it would record video as well. Do you guys have any suggestions what I should get?

Panasonic LUMIX FZ-80 are great cameras! Here's the link for it. It has 60x zoom! It's over $300 but it's cheap for it's 60x magnification.

Another thing you could consider is upgrading just the camera body to a more modern one that uses the same lens mount. If you already have a decent set of lenses that you like, you'll probably get the most bang for your buck with a newer camera body.

Othervise the Lumix does seem to be a pretty good pick.
