Anybody own a sport car or muscle car? A sport or muscle car you've just bought or bought long ago? Sport or cruiser based motorcycle? ... I should clarify: we're talking about cars or motorcycles YOU OWN, not cars or motorcycles you like or wish to own, etc. Strictly sport or muscle vehicles too, not your average daily drivers. Trucks also included... that includes diesel trucks. I own... something..., but I can't talk about it just yet. I also own a motorcycle that I've owned since 2019. This is part of my extreme passions in life, besides lighting... so I just figured I'd create this thread just for fun. I expect to hear about your older classic muscle cars, etc... but if you own a sport car, older or newer, let it be known as well!

Mine are a 1963 Mercury Marauder S-55 Fastback 390ci 4bbl , a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 7-Litre Convertible 428ci 4bbl , a 1966 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham Convertible 421ci Tri-Power , a 2003 Mercury Marauder 4.6L 32V DOHC . The Pontiac and the Galaxie are both "1 of 1" cars !!

If that 1963 Mercury Marauder looks anything like what I'm seeing in google image photos... Yeah those are all definitely classic muscle cars. Definitely worth going to car shows with them as well! I don't know much about the 2003 Mercury Marauder though. Sounds like it's probably a muscle car with that massive 4.6L V8 engine

Currently none, but I wouldn't mind having a 1st gen 5-speed Mazda Miata. Maybe one day!

My buddy had a Mazda Miata... I think it was a 1st gen..? (Built in the 90's) It was a hard top, and he had it customized. No turbo though.

@Wide-lite 1000, I feel your pain. As of now, my Pontiac G6 is the only thing drivable, but for different reasons. :'-) My motorcycle has a flat tire, so it's sitting in my garage while collecting dust and spider webs. Spiders LOVE that thing.

@Wide-lite 1000, yeah! I'd imagine all three of those classic muscle cars would be very tough to maintain.
My other reason is with regarding the one thing that I can't reveal yet, due to it being a surprise for family. My little bro knows about my lighting habits. He knows about Lighting Gallery, as well as my profile name, etc. Although he probably doesn't visit this website, I don't want to risk ruining the surprise, so I can't reveal it just yet. He does know the motorcycle though. :'-)

The '63 Marauder needs a engine rebuild and the other 2 need complete restorations .
Good luck with the surprise !! We'll be waiting .

Engine rebuilds and restorations... that sounds very expensive! Especially for classic cars like that. The reveal will be shown in this thread after I'm done showing family. And yep, family. Not just my little brother. My parents as well. :'-) I'm honestly not sure what my mother is gonna say about it. hahaha A part of me is debating on getting their reactions on video, but... nahh. Haha

Does a Mercedes-Benz E500 with a 5.0L V8 count?

A 5.0 is a big engine, but so far from what I've read on it, the E500 seems geared more towards luxury. I could be wrong though. But it is a nice car, and I'm personally a fan of the mid 90's E500. Is that what you have, @LightsoftheWest?

It does have a 5.0 engine in it, so I guess it counts. At 5.0, my greatest guess would be that it's a luxurious muscle car. Could be one of those sleeper cars too, where you hit the throttle and watch all cars around you get pushed behind... haha.
