Anything would be better honestly. Even if they just put up boring AEL lights.

I can't seem to find any detailed info like spec sheets on the Affinity lights too, their website seems to be more of selling their conversion service instead of giving you detailed specs of the luminaires themselves.

Oh and the website is just as terrible as the lights. Search up "Saco Maine Affinity Proposal" and it's in there.

Yup and try to navigate it, I can't tell you how many times it glitches out, but somehow these towns see nothing wrong with it!

By the spec sheets, depends on the wattage.

Thanks, I read through the proposal. I guess since they claim to be a "turnkey" solution, they probably don't intend to sell any luminaires directly like with conventional manufacturers so they decided not to hide any info.
Anyway I don't know about you, but that proposal seems pretty sloppily written. For one theres a random page with a ad for a financing company in it or some reason, but at least they finally have some spec sheets in it.
Personally if I was responsible for streetlighing in a town, I would probably really only consider products from the major manufacturers like Signify, Cooper, GE, and Acuity. At least a company with a proven track record. Too many fly by night products out there in the market for LED. The other thing is that warranty support will probably be better from the major manufacturers too.
Personally I find Signify to be pretty reliable, my area has a bunch of streetlights from them and not too many failures 8 years down the line.

SRP for life.

There's a few other LED manufacturers out there that aren't "copy and paste" like most. Some include: - Evluma
- Solais/EnergyLite
- Cree Lighting
- EOI Lighting
- LED Roadway Lighting Limited

Yup and the fact that it's my city is one trillion times worse.
It must be awful, all of those wonderful fixtures you have photographed over the years, gone . When our town converted to LED, I wasn't interested in lighting yet, to the only way I can look at those lights, is with out-of-date Google StreetView photographs :'(.

It was, but this is the age we find ourselves in! A town can trust a company who writes a proposal like a 2nd grader. I think it's because Affinity reaches out like there's no other option but to use their lights but I agree how stupid it is to pick Affinity over say Cree or AEL.

To be honest, that Affinity Lighting proposal made me laugh really hard.

Hmmm, I wonder what "Relocation of existing fixture" entails...
