Well now, there's a good question, top of the list has to be real ale, and from a hand pump on the bar, although some bottled beer like Crabbies Alcoholic Ginger Beer is excellent
As regards wine, then Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand is our favourite, but if you're talking about spirits then it has to be Laphroaig Single Malt Whisky from the island of Islay, the smell of peat as you open a new bottle is wonderful..! Even the cheapest at £25 a bottle is amazing, but we'd love to know what the
really expensive stuff at £7000 a bottle tastes like
We do like rum, especially what we have at the moment, Lambs Spiced Rum, and we also like Irish Whiskey and some of the American Bourbons such as Jim Beam.
The only drink I can't take at any price is gin, the smell of that when a bottle is opened lays me flat out, which is annoying. Sammi's mum loves the stuff, though.
