Preheat fluorescent disease? « on: February 27, 2022, 12:01:53 AM » Author: WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA
While everybody seems to talk about the so-called Westinghouse Lifeguard disease, I have personally been infected with preheat fluorescent disease, which is a condition where preheat fluorescent tubes and ballasts eat up my wallet of money all the time. In addition, with that disease, for every 4 pin fluorescent tube I touch, it automatically gets used on a preheat fluorescent tube ballast. Does anyone else have preheat fluorescent disease too?

I've definitely got it.
I miss my childhood days when I was silly and turned off the lights in public buildings just so I could see all the tubes flickering and flashing when my parents made me turn the lights back on.
All the fluorescent light fixtures in my collection are preheat

Fluro starter pings combined with a 50hz ballast hum and blinking tubes is music to my ears.
