Small germicidal lamp for MV demonstration « on: February 16, 2022, 06:43:20 PM » Author: MikeT1982
Hey guys, I have a small battery powered for watt fluorescent light which I posted many years ago in my gallery. Recently I was given a small Phillips four Watt germicidal tube, For a second I put it in the fixture and it works perfectly but I am afraid of the short wave UV. I’ve always wanted a clear fluorescent made of glass that could be used for demonstration but I have no idea how to obtain it. If I leave the clear plexi cover on will that render germicidal safe? Thanks! I believe the fixture is called satellite and one of my galleries.

I'd say looks at through any old glass, the lantern cover may help too. If you want to get a pic, set your camera rolling, turn it on, run away then somehow turn it odd lol Wow germicidal lamps can be safe I'd avoid em except for use in sterilization (of hopefully not the eyes).
