For me, it would probably be a linear SLI-H, or maybe a clear 1960s 1kW Mercury Vapor.

Removed the scrolling emotes, please don't do that. It is very distracting.

For me, it would probably be a linear SOX, or maybe a clear 1960s 1kW Mercury Vapor.
Linear low pressure sodium lamps are designated SLI/H.

Linear low pressure sodium lamps are designated SLI/H.

Not ALL low pressure sodium lamps are considered “SOX” lamps since there were certainly other designations for low pressure sodium lamps besides “SOX” like “NA/T 200W-3”, “SO/H”, “SOI/H”, “SLI/H”, and “NA-9”. I am a lucky owner of some 60w SLI/H low pressure sodium lamps and proper fixtures designed for such lamps.

That was probably a good idea. Lots of users had that scrolling text on their signatures, which made it annoying to read what they had written. And hardly anyone used it on the message boards, and when it was used, it was just plain distracting. That is why I think the decision you (and the other administrators) made was quite a good idea.

Japanese magnetic ballast, Toshiba Neoball, NEC Hotalook long afterglow tube, Philips SL*Prismatic and Philips SL*18R. Oh, and Philips EB preheating ballast.
Among them, the Philips SL*9 Prismatic (3rd Generation), Philips SL*11 Electronic Prismatic and Philips SL*18 built-in magnetic ballast are already in transit and will arrive in the next two days.
