What a cool hunt! I love that small Westhy. You sure now have a good amount of ballasts for the post-2010 ban.

Nice additions to your collection Joseph! Is the Accupro T12HO ballast real light, and would it fit in a standard 8ft strip?

Thanks everybody. That's about most of my new additions to my collection during the past few weeks.

@Vince I like that Westy fluorescent too, it even looks NOS. Do you know how old is it?

@Keder That particular Restore where I got most of the stuff had a lot of fluorescent fixtures and lamps. I'm still on the lookout for a cobrahead fixture though.

@Darren the Accupro ballast is a lot lighter than the F48HO magnetic maybe even less than a F40 magnetic but I'll have to check that, it has the same cross section as a F40 RS ballast but it's the same length as a magnetic HO ballast so it should fit in a standard 8ft strip

Joseph, unfortunately I can't date Westinghouse fluroescents of that era, unless there's a number between two sets of dots, is it the case with yours?

Hey Vince, I can't find a number between two sets of dots on mine. There's only the dots codes on mine. I don't know if It'll help but I checked the electrodes with a laser pointer today and they have two metal protrusions perpendicular to the filament.

Close up on electrode structure:

Interesting, that looks to be a common characteristic of all older Westinghouse fluorescents (my F17T8/CW/28 from '61 also has these metal protrusions). As of the date, I cannot help you, sorry  :-\

No problem  :) Your Westinghouse fluorescent looks to be from the mid-late 60s, as the etch seems to be inside.

Hey Vince, I just checked the Westy and it's a outside etcher. Maype it was made during the 1970's? Anyways they've fixed the uploads so I'll be uploading a pic of the Westy soon.

So the lamp is from early-mid 70s, still a neat fluorescent!
