HID, LPS, and preheat fluorescents forever!!!!!!

Even though many members on this site dislike corn cob LED retrofit lamps for HID fixtures, I personally do not mind collecting them since I can easily change back to HID as desired. Is there anyone who collects corn cob LED retrofit lamps designed for HID fixtures?

I am sure these will be short-lived technologies so I saved a couple of the better engineered examples. In the future they may turn out to be rarer than 1880s incandescent lamps before everything became standardised on the same simplest and most effective design.

I've always had an extra bit of interest for retrofit lamps, maybe because of the added challenge of existing constraints, I don't know. Now those made for HID fixtures are kind of expensive, so I don't particularly plan on getting one, unless I find a used one in a thrift store or something.

I’ve got 2 20 watt ones with E40 caps, I’ve also got 3 CFL with E40s, 2 are giant spirals that I don’t think are made anymore?

I have a couple of such LED lamps but their light output is sideways with a angle of 180dgr. They are used and their wattage is 30W with a CCT of around 4000K. They were distributed by Tesla Light GmbH in Switzerland. They are very heavy but their quality is very good as I did have only two premature failures of around 100 installed lamps. In 2016 I installed around 40 of these and beside of one failure due to a lightning direct strike non of them failed yet. Some I removed due to scheduled lantern replacement so if someone like them I can send a couple for free (exkl. shipment)...

I'm not too much of a fan of the corn cobs but I would like get to one of those higher wattage LED filament lamps such as the Philips Trueforce CorePro LED HPL or the Abco ED28 LED filament lamps.
I suppose if I find a working corn cob for cheap I might get it but I probably won't pay full retail price for one.

I collect photos of them, which don’t really do them justice. Then I upload, drag to the trash, and erase the disk. If I still see the blue dots when I shut my eyes, it’s my own fault. Someday people like me who stare at bad lights will be extinct, like the cavemen that first stared at the sun.

Resolutely crack down on inferior LED lighting!!

我虽然有一个7W玉米芯LED,但是我测试HID灯是在密封的成套灯具里的,和玉米芯LED无关 Although I have a 7W corncob LED, I tested the HID lamp in a sealed set of lamps, which has nothing to do with the corncob LED
