Mexican and Central American lamp catalogs for James Hooker's website « on: October 29, 2021, 07:56:25 AM » Author: WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA
Since I found a decent number of lamp catalogs that show lamps sold in the Mexican and Latin American market, I am interested in sharing them with the lighting gallery community and trying to get people to understand and learn about lighting that was sold and marketed in Mexico and Latin America since lamps, ballasts, and fixtures are widely underrepresented in the lighting gallery community. If possible, it would be great if James Hooker posted these catalogs on his lamptech page of historic lamp catalogs. I will send more catalogs if I find more.

These aren't strictly 'historic' catalogues though. :wndr:

I do see that James Hooker himself posted lamp catalogs that do date to the 2010s. In some of these catalogs, some of the lamps have been discontinued over time. In addition, I am interested in trying to get people in the LG community to gain an understanding of what light bulbs were sold and marketed in Latin America because I have a strong feeling that most members have no knowledge of the lighting that was used in Latin America due to the fact that most of our active members do not live in Latin America. I am interested in helping to contribute to this site by sharing information that is not widely known among us. In turn, more people will gain a new perspective on lighting history if they take a look at these catalogs more thoroughly.

James is a very busy man, and doesn't have time to add much new content of his own, never mind the catalogues that you have listed, where he will have to get permission to host them on his site.
