got a NEW in box yard blaster with 175 Mercury clear bulb last month from Princess 

I find it interesting they still have them in some locations as I thought they were cleared out chainwide by sometime in 2019.

BTW, Princess Auto has more Philips Roadfocuses in stock... see here.

Looks like they restocked too. One of the locations in my area has some for $30 on clearance now.

I did and paid using PayPal got the confirmation Email and all
then out of the blue PayPal refunded my money and Princess has NOT shown order cancelled or anything
(they showed ZERO local stock)

I think it might be phantom stock. I went to the location listed as having one earlier today and while the employees were helpful in trying to track it down for me weren't able to find the light in the store. I suppose you might have encountered the same issue as Princess Auto fullfills online orders using store stock.

they listed online as NO stores having any and ONLINE having 2
still NO E mail from them saying ORDER NOT fulfilled
and it is NOT the first time I have experienced "phantom" stock from them

The site updated again and it still thinks there's two in stock at 8500 Woodbine Ave, which was the location I went to and checked last night. One of the employees spent some time searching around for it but to no luck and another said he hasn't seen in for a while.

 Sound to me like whoever's tracking inventory needs to look for a new job !!!

interesting as when I put in MY post code in Manitoba it showed me stores WEST only and NOTHING in Ontario so that is why the Etobicoke store HAVING stock did NOT show and I assume if they FOUND the 2 and you took one I would have gotten the OTHER shipped to me 

@wide-lite 1000 - Yeah, normally I'm a bit skeptical where there's only one item left but I figured it'd be hard for them to lose track of a 2ft long streetlight (they were sold in large plastic bags, unpackaged). Turns out I was wrong and I've already got one from when I first started seeing these for sale.

@Richmond2000 - It seems like someone overrode the system now as it shows 8500 Woodbine as out of stock. Yeah if they actually had two, one would have gotten shipped to you and I would have been able to find the other one. I suppose their system only shows the stores in the province you set it to.
