There has been some discussion lately here about Electrolier fixtures. Curious, I made a little research on the company, and found limited information. John Issenman started Electrolier in Montreal in about 1920, making all sorts of light fixtures. His son, Bernard Issenman, took over some time after 1943, apparently making it the largest light fixture company in Canada. He later sold the company to Sylvania, where he kept employment until his retirement.
