I now have a shed where I could store my lamps but the shed does not have air conditioning and it gets super hot in the summer.is it okay to store my lamps in the heat?

I would honestly be more worried about bitter cold in the winter than 'hot' in the summer. If anything that's where things like lamps are gonna get damaged.

I would be more afraid about the humidity being high during some temperature changes...

Just like grocery products are recommended to be store at, a chill and dry place. Like in a closed, cardboard or plastic box with the lamps stacked on it, with their original sleeves. If the lamps don't have their sleeves you can warp them in newspaper an put them in a box. If it is a closed plastic box I would also put some silica gel bag in it.

You can put that box in your room but you don't wanna put it outside, the kitchen or the bathroom do you. 

  It more about humidty causing corrosion on things. I have been storing my 7- 10 ft tubes in a open barn

How would cold damage em? Would it like do something to the mercury?

No, it won't hurt the mercury. I'm thinking more along the lines of stress fractures due to cold - maybe there's an imperfection in the glass, and stuff like ring-off cracks at the end..
(ends of the lamp are probably the weakest point, you have a couple pieces of glass that were joined together, plus bends/curves in glass, plus metal & glass joined together.)

Not I'm also talking bitter cold - single digits (F) and especially below zero - not simply "cold" as in 30's or 20's.
If you don't get really cold like that, I wouldn't worry about it.

Also lamps are designed to take heat! - they'll get way hotter in operation than they ever will stored in a shed during summer. They may or may-not be specifically designed to take bitter cold temperatures - other than "cold rated" lamps.
