2015 our government will forbid the mercury vapor lamp completly.

For the future should only CFL and Halogen lamps used.

Actually these regulations you mentioned are all over the EU, not just Germany.

Here in the USA, 40-100 watt incandescent bulbs will be banned gradually between 2012-2014. They'll be replaced by energy savning halogens which are just coming out.

The next round of lamps that may be banned are T-12 fluorescent lamps and halogen PARs.

Yeah , of course in the whole EU , but I don´t consider saving lamps under 18 wattage . For me is that a light like in modelbuilding for HO . Our city had given every inhabitant a LED lamp with one wattage for free . Thank you -HAHA. LOL

In every public buildings are now CFL under 18 wattage.
I don´t hate energy saving lamps.
Sorry ,but for me personally , I want see what!

Fortunately they don´t forbid the normal flourescent tubes up to 80wattage. ;D

Is the mercury vapor ban going to happen just in Europe or is the whole world going to be "infected"? (I know in USA this already happened)

In the USA only mercury vapor ballasts are banned, lamps are not. The EU merc lamp ban is for within the EU.
