Anyone 3D printed a major luminaire part? « on: May 16, 2021, 03:04:37 AM » Author: lights*plus
I see a copy of a fluorescent socket and some 3D printed circline bulb holders, but does anyone on LG have a printed larger part of a fixture, like a cover or a snap or something? I see a 6WT5 fitting "using materials stable up to 105°C" but the fixture itself is poorly visible (shot with an iPad) and apparently isn't a copy of something else.

If you do have copied something, what's the quality like compared to the original part? Is it polycarbonate, ABS or softer plastic? Transparent or opaque?

There's also this quite original homemade neon lamp, but other than these examples, I couldn't find anything else in the galleries.
