Anyone heard of or been to this place? 

Never heard of it. What is it exactly?

It’s basically a lighting and electrical equipment museum in Schenectady, NY. I want to go there someday. 
Unfortunately, it seems like that will never happen. They are permanently closed. 

They have a lot of good videos up. I believe one of the guys there used to be a member here, but the name escapes me.

Rick Delair!  He also posts on here sometimes and has a really spectacular collection.  A lot of what is shown on the Edison Tech Centre movies are his own lamps.

That's him..! Couldn't bring the name to mind, he does indeed have some incredible items in his collection.
