Can anyone tell me who makes this fixture, and what it is? It looks like an ATB, but it isn’t. Apparently, Ameren has started using these. They look like if Leotek, and AEL had a love child that came out horrendously disfigured.

It kinda looks like a GE ERLC, but the round LED is throwing me off a bit.

It is indeed a GE Evolve ERLC. The round LED is probably for a certain type of light distribution.

I like the Evolve ERL1, but this is just plain ugly. Kinda reminds me of the M250A2 box design

I like the ERL1 better as well. Not a big fan of it either, but I wouldn't mind seeing one in person.

GE ERLC, I have a few photos of them. I like the ERL1 better. I have never see the round diode tho. Maybe this diode setup has less glare than before.

It wasn’t too bad of a glare, and did a pretty good job lighting the area. There was a Leotek w/ Type II optics before, and the optics made the fixture seem like crap. This is a Type V optics. Seems like the Leotek GCJ outside of my house is a bit brighter though. Both are 3,000K

Interesting, is Ameren experimenting with fixtures again? I remember you posted something about a Cree RUL too.

I think they do 5-10 year contracts with certain suppliers based on price. Never noticed any issues with the Leoteks, so it couldn’t have been a reliability reason. I wouldn’t mind seeing some Signify Lumecs around. I like how the Roadfocus looks, but I doubt Ameren would spend the extra money. Although GE Evolve usually costs a pretty penny, and as cheap as Ameren is, you can expect they got some kind of deal.

Probably contract then if nothing was wrong with the Leoteks. I bet they got deals if contracts were signed.
