Neon trigger tubes « on: March 05, 2021, 01:19:34 PM » Author: Roland Huisman
Gosh, I'm new on this forum. But the first thing that got my attention were the neon lights at the homepage to show new posts. Initially I thought my other hobbies were completely off topic here. But has anyone ever seen or used an Anita MK8 calculator? If you like blinking neon lights you should definitely have one at home :) I made a demo of it years back: https://youtu.be/6-qvtiqWens

If this is completely off topic then please remove my topic... I just love these little gas discharge tubes...

Regards, Roland

Not off topic at all Roland, it lights up so it's allowed.  8)

Thinking about this further, personally I would class it as off topic, as it's not actually a lantern or a fixture, but as it's attracted comments we'll leave it for now.

What I'd suggest you do is post an image or two in the off-topic section of the gallery, people can then comment on them there.

The youtube video was very interesting, by the way  8)

It's ok, it isn't a big problem, do post some images in the gallery, though  8)

I have made an eBay kit clock and does alright. I toyed with the idea of using it as a clock for my car as it doesn't have it but the clock doesn't play nice with the FM radio and the supercap doesn't last long where it always loses time overnight. It set me back around $120 so around 60 pound.
