Does your lighting hobby distract you from necessary tasks? « on: February 20, 2021, 07:52:31 PM » Author: WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA
As a lighting enthusiast and collector, my lighting hobby distracts me from my schoolwork from time to time. Does lighting distract anyone from their necessary responsibilities like it does to me sometimes?

Back when I was still in school, I found that I generally didn't really study/did schoolwork that well at home anyway. Particularly if the topic at hand wasn't interesting so my mind would naturally drift towards something that interested me like lighting.

What I found helped was doing as much schoolwork and studying when possible outside the house. Generally I would study in common areas on campus, libraries, and even a empty classroom. Group study and work also helped a lot. Unfortunately I don't know about the US, but most of those places are closed here due to the response to the virus so I can't really help you much there. Perhaps if you live in a bigger house, a room that has less distractions would help.
