Ignitors besides Bag Turgi using Osram StE501 and SE600 starters « on: February 17, 2021, 03:39:31 AM » Author: WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA
I wonder if anyone knows of any manufacturers besides Bag Turgi that manufactured HID lamp ignitors that were designed for Osram SE600 starters and StE501 starters. I am curious about this question because I find ignitors that use these external starting switches to be very fascinating and interesting.

And my question on top of that is, what circuit actually is inside of these ignitors and how they work?

When I have time I like to investigate into the shematics of such BAG Turgi ignitor. I did try to open one but I was not able to gain access as they are well potted into resin.
I try to get the access for some patents and other documents at the archive of this factory - if one exists though.
