Plastic and fire do not go well together...  :D
Yep, does it?  :mrg:

At most home stuff retail stores they sell decorative metal things like old style cars and sometimes kerosene lamps that are not functional, but I think I could modify one of these decorations. I think buying an actual old kerosene lamp would be way too expensive for me.  :P  How much did yours costed?

I’ve always been interested in all kinds of lighting, mainly incandescent and HID, and especially all kinds of sodium lamps (HPS/LPS). I’ll tolerate LED but I’m not a fan of it.
I’m not proud to say that my city has Devolved to LED.

A pair of GE FM25/DPK bulbs arrived from eBay before the end of 2020.

I find comfort in that old-school stuff, this dystopia we live in sucks! 2021 is gonna suck too!
