Yeah it’s interesting, I remember where I lived in Oromocto with those old streetlights, they had those round remote ballasts, I always wondered what they were when I was a kid, very interesting, There was some interesting ballast variety too, probably for different wattages or Metal Halides. Also, only one way to find out, maybe I’ll go there at night and see!

AEL 17-000 at a CVS parking lot in Dedham, MA. Sadly, it got replaced a unknown LED fixture a year ago.
