I found an old Streetview!!!!  Some fiddling around and I finally managed to see these old lights, are they Coopers? As you can see they are long gone after they started building the Anthony Henday freeway. The new ones you can see are quite low to the ground, for the Helicopters as this is by the military base and they have a Heli Squadron there. Kind of redundant since the helicopters never ever fly that low anyways lol

Were ! The newer views showed what looked like full cutoff OVFs? on REALLY short davit poles which were again replaced by LEDs on the same short poles .

In Los Angeles, California, USA; I remember seeing some split door GE M400 high pressure sodium lanterns in certain places that utilized plastic lenses instead of the typical glass lenses seen on most lanterns. Some things that I remembered about them is that they often browned out from the heat and UV radiation of the high pressure sodium lamps, they were also deeper compared to glass lenses, and lanterns with such lenses had a more pronounced high pressure sodium glow to them when they were illuminated at night. I've seen those lenses and also own one . They were used in areas of high vandalism .

Also come to think of it I also think those MV powerlite Gumballs were often fitted with metal halide bulbs, using the same  Mecury vapor remote ballast, because the color shifting was quite variable, too much to be MV methinks.

I could be dead wrong, and I probably am lol. They may have changed that ballasts indeed. I just remember the very notable colour shifting when ever going down the streets at night when I was a kid, IIRC the way I described the degree of colour shifting someone brought up how it’s more likely to be metal halide.

I'm looking at homes for sale and happened to come across these!! Mind you this streetview was taken a few years back so they might unfortunately not be there anymore, only one way to find out though
