Ok not really lol but they are not too far! Notice the remots ballast tucked right between the pole and the bracket. Is it a Line maker Ovalite? Wonder if it still uses MV or has been retrofitted with MH

Nice find, it looks a bit like the Westinghouse HMA-60 which was a 1000w MV clamshell. The ballast looks pretty old so it might still be MV.

Yeah, might be worth it to grab some night shots too. Looks like there are 3 inside the yard and one at the entrance. There's a one hidden behind some trees you can get a better view of in the older versions.

A few unknown fixtures that I would like help identifying This one looks like a cross between a Sylvania B2224 & Urban https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.9898682,145.2632559,3a,15y,236.37h,97.87t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sCEzreJIVG-ES7Ut0zDL-nw!2e0!5s20091201T000000!7i13312!8i6656This one looks like a Rexcell Optispan but it is smaller and more square https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.9912708,145.2653789,3a,15y,280.57h,115.95t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1s_P601VtiRa7QHcwr3tV-Og!2e0!5s20091201T000000!7i13312!8i6656Possibly a Phillips Contour https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.9782026,145.272849,3a,15y,195.39h,107.49t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sykeqsX4yWPEgSLUjUn5INQ!2e0!5s20150701T000000!7i13312!8i6656Another unknown fixture https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.9817874,145.276385,3a,22.8y,183.06h,116.89t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sD4W9hNWQOZdrwwGrOjoamw!2e0!5s20091201T000000!7i13312!8i6656Also a really nice picture of a B2223 warming up https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-37.9793762,145.2542644,3a,15.5y,58.6h,100.94t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1seJMu_G-4VeKsp3rIpUjiTA!2e0!5s20091201T000000!7i13312!8i6656A quick look around the area in December 2009 reveals a goldmine of MV fixtures that were sadly and stupidly replaced with Sylvania StreetLEDs If you want to reply to this message, please click "Reply with quote" so I know what replies are for this message

I drove by this light at this intersection, caught my eye while I was at the red light. As you can see, the davit poles are quite old, if you go back to earlier streetviews you can see they were all LPS, this is the only one left. It's days are definitely numbered, quite sad, an end of an era, I remember I'd see them all the time when I was a kid during road trips.

Nice survivor. The larger SOX lights are pretty much gone from my area. Might be worth it to contact the Ministry of Transport or the contractor that maintains it and see if you can save it.
