The ozonelite looks to have a magnetic ballast... Jace?? Do you know which one is better?

I would stay far away from such things. Both seems to me to generate ozone, what break-up usually long aromatic molecules. But beside this wanted function, the ozone is known to be poisonous, if it's concentration is not under tight control. And nobody will convince me, these lamps do have any ozone concentration regulating capability, so they do not generate or too small (so it does not work as advertised), or too large (to be health thread by itself) concentration.

I would not be so sure, it maybe not emit ozone from "traditional" manner (corona, UVC), but as TiO2 is described to act, it's a strong oxidizing catalyst, when exposed to light (and corona and UVC are such catalyst too)... I would not be surprised, it make the ozone too, beside NOx and who know, how end-up all these odors - i'm hard to believe, it's only CO2 and water (as complete burning)... But it is true, when properly controlled, then these consequences are much less harmful then those odors, but the same might be said about the ozone - if you use only just the concentration necessary, it does nothing bad. But issues are with the mechanism how to control the dose, to avoid too high levels. And this issue had not yet been solved in cost effective way...

Cheap way to get Rutile ( the most common form of titanium dioxide) is to paint a wall with plain white paint, as this contains it as a whitening agent. All my local beach sand is lousy with rutile, it makes a black layer in the sand.

I just got two TCP Fresh2 CFL's in the mail I ordered. They seem to work like a normal TCP 23 watt CFL, only 3000K not 2700K. The air smells fresher and they work well. I put one in my bedroom and the other in the kitchen.
