This is for a lot of two. They are a bit overpriced, but I’m not sure if these are rare. The seller accepts offers and they’ve been listed for a long time, though.

(Dead eBay link removed, topic kept since it has some info on VL Philips MV lamps)

I’ve always been interested in all kinds of lighting, mainly incandescent and HID, and especially all kinds of sodium lamps (HPS/LPS). I’ll tolerate LED but I’m not a fan of it.
I’m not proud to say that my city has Devolved to LED.

Are those essentially Westinghouse Lifeguard lamps sold under the VL name?

They’re essentially Safety Lifeguard lamps, yes. Notice the “T175” designation.

More like the Philips Lifeguard, due to the minor changes made after buying the Bath plant.

These are actually Safety Lifeguard lamps, because of the “T175” in the ordering code.

Yes...I'm talking about the changes Philips made to the lamps after buying out Westinghouse's lamp division. The screw-shell has been updated, along with the phosphor coating, and upper supports. Most of this was tossed when they switched to the ED28 design in 1988.
