Documents of 1970s and 80s large Westinghouse lamp catalogs « on: November 25, 2020, 03:01:06 PM » Author: HPS_250
I would like to share that I’ve found the documents for many Westinghouse lamp catalogs from the 1970s and 80s, which contain lots of information and specifications on the lamps and coatings that they made. I was most interested in the Lifeguard mercury vapor lamp section, but there are plenty of others including HPS lamps, fluorescent lamps, and incandescent lamps. Obviously not an LED in sight!  ;D  :mv: :hps:

I’ll link some here.

Westinghouse Large Lamp Catalog 1975, notice it mentions the discontinuation of /C and /W lamps.

Enjoy! There are also more that you can search for.

I’ve always been interested in all kinds of lighting, mainly incandescent and HID, and especially all kinds of sodium lamps (HPS/LPS). I’ll tolerate LED but I’m not a fan of it.
I’m not proud to say that my city has Devolved to LED.

On the same website, you can find old Sylvania lamp catalogs and old GE lamp catalogs. In addition, you can also find more of these lamp catalogs on James Hooker’s website.

Those catalogs are fantastic!

They’re really interesting to read! I wonder how long it would take (if it’s even possible) to find every lamp in that 1980 catalog today.
