I didn't care too much for HPS but I really do miss how warm and soft it looked when it was snowing outside. My neighborhood now has GE Devolves that were 3000k but they seem to have color shifted to be a bit cooler.

In a way, I do. But if I want to enjoy vintage MVs and HPS fixtures, all I have to do is flip a switch and go outside.

Yes I miss it, I think it's better than led.

Yes, I will miss HID. LPS is something I didn't see often, and LED conversions aren't helping. I always thought they were visually comfortable and energy efficient. I just went to the San Diego area of California, and the numbers of LPS fixtures are dwindling. I've seen pictures of MV fixtures in Washington state from a while back, which looked cool. Unfortunately, I was too late for those. I will be very disappointed when WSDOT does an LED conversion because the Hubbell RLC is common in the system, but not elsewhere.
