Someone on a different forum (CPF) asked about 1000w metal halide lamps with shorter arc length for a searchlight,
that can be operated on a ANSI ballast. Other requirment was universal position and atleast 110000 lumens.
The shortest arc I have found so far is 77mm. Is there any alternatives that has less than 30-40mm?
