I didn't know I would have a choice. I thought they just tell you what truck you're driving. I also assumed that I will not be working alone right after graduation. I figured I'd be part of a crew. I'd feel better anyways having other lineman with me anyways at first.

You are correct, just later on get an Altec if you have a choice. Heavy duty, sturdy, reliable, easy to operate. Some companies give you a choice if they have several to issue out.

I want sturdy for sure lol. They have bucket trucks at the school. I'm curious what that experience is going to be like. For some reason I have a feeling being high up in a bucket truck is going to be scarier than climbing a 75 foot pole.
