I don't think so, but there's a listing for a so-called 1000w MV 480v yard blaster (search "mercury barn 1000…")
The included photocell is a 120v unit, the wires are black/white and diameter is only 9", much too small to handle a 1000w MV lamp.
I think someone stuffed an unused basic yardblaster into an old ballast box that has a 1000w/480v label.... just a guess...
No there isn't any such thing as a 1000 watt yard blaster. I think the seller got that information from reading the max ratings on top of the photocontrol receptacle. Photocontrol receptacles are usually marked with something along the lines of "max 480v 1000w".
