Looks like 400W mercury vapor lamp with a color correcting phosphor coating. This lantern is very antique to have a high pressure sodium lamp or a metal halide lamp.
I strongly recommends you to insert your living country and your country mains voltage, to your user profile, in order to prevent the American members from provide you misleading or irrelevant information, as the American lighting technology is significantly different than the European one, since the American uses 120V mains voltage.
