According to what data? What do you deem higher quality in older models than the ones offered presently?
It is just thing of making memory, back in the good quality LEDs were more available, but with the time the cheaper ones came to the game for being more consumer friendly, and the top quality ones became more or less a niche to e.g. building lighting, photography and luxury places, and the standard ones passed to be the most popular to the average consumer. Then Ebay came with irresistible offers but not better quality. Note that I'm not saying that all on Ebay or other online stores have bad quality products, there is everything there from junk to the top of the top quality. Keep it in mind.
So? Return it. How often do manufacturing defects happens to you?
I won't return anything because I know what I buy, and I won't buy dodgy things unless I buy it on purpose. I never spoke about manufacturing defects, and no, I've never got manufacturing defects, because when I buy on retail stores I test the lamps on the test rig before buying them.
ou just seem to broadcast an oddly specific agenda in the hopes of dismissing a light source, on a lighting website. For people logged or reading on here who don't know much and want to learn a thing or two, they're reading off people with biased arguments based on emotions, disdain and guesstimates, on a technology, engineering and science oriented website. Knowledge is power, and assumptions spread bull-(...).
First of all I'm not trying to convince anyone to think how I, I'm just exposing my opinion as how all members here do. If you see it the other way, you do, but admins will decide if an exposed opinion is directly or indirectly attacking an specific member about his/her preferences. But if I see an exposed opinion that is not with mine and it's not directly pointing to me I just keep scrolling.
Second thing. People here decide what to learn or not and from what source.
And no further discussion, I'll not keep arguing because it's gonna lead nowhere. You see the thing by one way and I see the things by my way.
