Did Philips stop producing bulbs in Belgium? « on: July 12, 2024, 10:53:45 AM » Author: Atison_star
I heard that Philips has stopped producing bulbs in Belgium. I don't know much about whether Philips produces sodium or metal halide in Belgium or whether the bulbs in stock are being sold. I don't know much, I'm wondering?

The factory is still there in Turnhout, but no longer has anything to do with Philips.  They sold it to Signify several years ago along with their entire lighting business.  I understand that UHP beamer arc tubes are still made in Belgium and a few general lighting HID types, but every year they shut down more of its production and move to Poland or to China.
