There are still a lot of places here that have T12s in use. Here's a few I can think of:
An Ace Hardware store lit with 2x96 Slimline fixtures (2x40 at the ends of rows), well-maintained.
A local store called Grady's Great Outdoors has 2x96 and 2x96/HO strips despite extensive remodeling and expansions. Also well-maintained.
Various convenience stores with 2x96 Slimlines or 4x40 troffers inside and usually 2x96/HO outside the building.
AnMed Health Center (hospital) that still uses 4x40 linear and 2x40 U-bend troffers, well-maintained.
Habitat ReStore with 2x96 and 2x40 strips and 3x32 and 4x40 troffers. Maintenance is so-so.
The Education Shack, a discount educational supply store, with 2x96 and 1x40 strips. Pretty much not maintained at all.
My school, which shall remain unnamed, is still mostly lit by 4x40 wraparounds and troffers, though the newer fixtures have always been F32T8 and a few of the older ones have been retrofitted. They have allowed me to be in charge of lighting maintenance so it's definitely one of the best-maintained T12 installations around.
