Hi all
What happens if I allowed too much current to go into a Low Pressure Sodium lamp?

You get a lamp that warms up substantially faster. Also the emissive material on the electrodes tends to evaporate causing darkening on the walls of the lamp. Eventually this will lead to lamp failure.
