I got a bunch of questions specifically all about the T12 diameter fluorescent lamps. Even if it isn’t implied in the question, I am only talking about T12s.

1: Shortest T12 Lamp

I think that F14T12 is the shortest T12 lamp but correct me if I am wrong. Has anyone seen one even shorter? I would like to try and make a very small single T12 fixture.


2: HO and VHO Tubes

I would like to know what T12 HO and VHO tubes have close to ~100W power. How many do you know of? (Along with their physical lengths plz)


3: Single-Pin Tubes

Are single-pin tubes all NO, HO, or VHO? I know they are obviously all instant-start.


4: Instant-Start

Is instant-start just for HO and VHO? Or are there instant-start ballasts for the normal NO tubes?

There was some post about prototype T12 tubes, around the length of F8T5, in different colours.

Wow, that is certainly small!

It's not much smaller than F14T12,  maybe an inch at most.
