Hope the MV bulb lives long

People drifting in Car Parks « on: March 08, 2025, 06:43:27 PM » Author: Eleco_SR304
Today I have seen people at 22:00 drift and drive very quickly through the car park at the center of Rugby Town. I've also seen people use a camera to video how people drove around the car park  :mrg:.

Anyone noticed people drifting/speeding up around car parks?  ??? ??? ???

Usually I collect bulbs (Mostly LED) and some HID ones. I also own a couple of streetlights, but most are made in Poland.

However, I mostly prefer SOX bulbs. LED bulbs in their efficacy will never beat SOX bulbs, in my opinion.

Haven’t seen people drifting, but what bothers me is the people who won’t go up and down the rows and instead just cut across the parking lines. The problem is they usually go way too fast and when there are cars parked, they can’t see you driving down the row, and they could easily T bone you. Or run you over.

I also notice a lot of drivers won’t bother to stop at crosswalks in the parking lot, or just drive around you instead.

By law here in FL you have to stop for the marked crosswalks but too many in a hurry won’t, and just plow right through.

From what I hear, basically any roadway on private property are considered outside traffic jurisdiction, so the police won’t issue tickets for example not stopping at stop signs in a parking lot or for cutting across in a parking lot.

Although I do believe it’s illegal to cut through a parking lot to avoid a red light.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

More suitable for Israel, and especially my area, where improved vehicles drifting the roads at very high speed and sounding fire sounds from their exhausts: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1223003565618681

Loads of people who drive very fast cross the the Red light. I Remember last week on Friday when this driver on the Roundabout wasn't even bothered stop and drove very strangely on the A46 at night

I saw this weekend, a woman driving a minivan turned in front of me very slowly off the highway, and when I turned onto the street, she stopped right in the roadway and putting the emergency flashers on, right before entrance to Harbor Freeight. A truck was pulled out of the parking lot in front of her. After truck drive by, I started to pass her, because she was just sitting there in the road, but then suddenly she made a left turn into another entrance on the other side of the road and then reversed in front of me again into the road and turned round.

It was very strange. If there had been any vehicles behind me there could have been a crash.

If you’re going to turn round, don’t put your flashers on and stop in the road to do it! She should’ve pulled into a parking lot made a circle and then come back out. Maybe she was lost. 🤔
