I found a F35 lamp at my school made by GE Hatichi, could i get and info about the lamp. Also, there is a box of Canadian? made ECOLUX STARCOAT lamps, are they any worth saving?

You think you can get a picture of this F35 lamp you’re talking about? I’ve never heard of it before.

And if those Ecolux lamps are indeed Canadian made, those are definitely worth saving. Those are solid lamps. Are they F32T8?

Usually, I have associated lamps with the “GE-Hitachi” branding as lamps intended for the Japanese market.

Judging by the information provided, it seems likely that it could be one of those Japanese 1 meter (39 inch) FL35SS tubes.

Shown below are the specifications for one of these tubes:

It seems like they are rated for 34W operation. If you do show us a photo, I can help you with finding more information. In that case, I recommend posting in the “gallery” since most lamp photos belong there.

So far, since the tube is sadly gone, I was only able to make educated guesses based on what I knew about Japanese lighting.
