Hi there
Todays find is gear to run 150W HPS/Metal Halide lamp
It came from a beach in Croatia (this lamp posts are everywhere here, sadly most of them are all LED now (or Metal Halide, cant realy distinguish)
Here are pictures:
https://imgur.com/a/ZQuaMr9 I dont know how the lamp post fell, but the whole post was fine (nothing band, only couple broken plastics
I would take it as a whole (cuz its realy beautiful fixture) if I knew how to bring this 400km away to Slovenia and where to stick it at home
Looking at this it seams the lamp was meant to run bottom side up which I always thought shortens LPS/HPS lamps life
Igniter doesnt look damaged, just the capacitor and sadly ballast look damaged
But according to my inspection only mehanical damage, it seams electricaly this looks fine (although ground seam to be hanging from mid air), so now I have to figure out how to repair mehanical damage (would realy like to save the ballast since new one is 50€)
So now I just need to find 150W HPS lamp to test, will drive to bosnia and get one (if I figure out in time (I am here in Primošten for 2weeks and I want to visit Bosnia again, so getting a lamp seams a good reason to drive 200KM and visit, its closer then if I go from Slovenia) (Ljubljana - Bosnia (Bihać) 3 hours, Primošten - Bosnia (Posušje) 2hours), where near Posušje area they sell some)
PS: I have 2 choices of lamps in this category of power it seams
Tubular shape like this:

https://www.multi-lite.com/en/item-1-21764.html Any recomendations? I want it to last and be orange in color, the more orange the better
PS: this was totaly unexpected, I already have 250W flodlight, never expectrd to get another one
Although, I would prefer it to be LPS/SOX, I wonder why those dont just fail from the sky into my hands like HPS/SON do
