Gas fill of halogen A19’s (between capsule and outer wall) « on: November 25, 2020, 11:23:59 PM » Author: MikeT1982
I just thought of this random question. I read that filament LED’s actually have helium for the sole purpose of no humidity and transferring heat out to the glass. So in halogen like I run (43w for 60’s), is there a vacuum (I’d think that’d be counterproductive as really stress the capsule and not pull heat) or is there the good old argon inert of oldschool incandescent, or are they totally lazy and leave room air (I’m gonna be sad if so LoL!!). Thanks guys and Happy Thanksgiving. I’m stuck at work lol.
