I think that the American Electric ballast-in-arm 165 was the last bracket luminaire to have a real NEMA latch-on optical assembly. The optical assembly on the vanguard is similar to the other bracket fixture that AEL made, but I can’t remember the name of it.

It would be nice if they made a version of this in LED, with a separate driver and optical assembly.

But does anyone think that this is a canary in the coalmine for Cooper discontinuing all of their HID fixtures?
