About a month ago, the Lithonia Lighting D-Series area luminaire underwent a slight redesign. It's now much more refined to look as streamlined as possible. For example, the heat-sinks are not as visible, the gear panel is flush with the housing, the mounting arm is now integrated, and the Lithonia Lighting "L" logo was moved further back. Its length, as well as lumen output, was also increased throughout all sizes. Overall, I like the new design better. The original D-Series is still made...for now. Interesting...the page for the new model does in fact have a BAA label under the model name.
